As soon as you approach the base, a jeep carrying a courier will begin a patrol. Quiet is a helpful partner in this mission. This mission can be frustrating, as the wide-open expanses make infiltration difficult. This only occurs once and not on subsequent repeat playthroughs of Mission 21. Snake can either ignore the call or scrap the current mission and trigger Mission 22. On a first playthrough, Snake will receive an emergency call from Miller informing him that Mother Base has been invaded by an unknown PF.

If done correctly, you can quickly exfiltrate by using a container Fulton to fly out of the area.

Get near the runway (but not too close or the sniper will see you) and snipe the CFA official thru the open window on the second floor of the airport building.

Enter the airport using the locked door on the northeast side (where the Fuel Resource containers are located).

Deploy near the airport (at night preferably).

Equip a strong sniper rifle with a suppressor and a 4x to 8x zoom.

This mission can be completed in under 5-minutes for the easy S-Rank.
